Here it is the very first project just in time for April Fool’s day! <\/strong><\/p>\n

I call this one “Screaming Altoids”. It’s a simple 555 timer oscillator put inside an Altoids tin. When the unsuspecting consumer of said Altoids opens the tin, WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE it emits a loud squealing sound that’s quite annoying! <\/p>\n

The parts list is pretty minimal on this project. It’s a fun and easy build so hack one together!<\/p>\n

PARTS LIST:<\/strong>
\n1 – Altoids tin
\n1 – 555 Timer chip
\n2 – 100 ohm resistors
\n1 – 2.2 mF electrolytic capacitor
\n1 – 100 mF electrolytic capacitor
\n1 – 9 volt battery
\n1 – 9 volt battery clip
\n1 – micro switch
\n1 – tiny speaker
\nSome fine hook up wire.<\/p>\n
