It was on the bike, then off, then modified and put back on, then removed and shelved.<\/p>\n<p>Well this week the VF700S is back WITH a fairing! I gave it a good sanding to remove the resin from my experiment in reshaping it. Once that was done I primed it in white and sprayed it with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.colorrite.com\/product\/honda-yr250-repsol-orange-1284.cfm\" target=\"_blank\">YR250 Repsol orange paint<\/a> from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.colorrite.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Colorite<\/a>. Before mounting it up I also touched up the head light bucket and instruments with some <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lowes.com\/pd_303289-90-246029_0__?productId=3728969&#038;Ntt=truck+bed+liner&#038;pl=1&#038;currentURL=%3FNtt%3Dtruck%2Bbed%2Bliner&#038;facetInfo=\" target=\"_blank\">black spray on truck bed liner<\/a>. I removed the forks and replaced the steering head bearings with a set of tapered roller bearing from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.allballsracing.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">All Balls racing<\/a> where I also purchased fork oil seals and dust seals. Once the seals and bearing were in place I put it all back together and mounted the fairing.
